Early Bird Kiwanis Annual Cheese Sale Begins November 5

October 28, 2026 The Early Bird Kiwanis Club of Decatur will begin its annual cheese sale November 5, with proceeds supporting local charitable organizations. The fundraiser offers approximately two-pound wheels of Colby, Colby Jack, pepper jack and Swiss cheese, along with a four-cheese variety wheel featuring all four flavors. The wheels are priced at $17 each. Approximately one-and-a-half-pound chunks of cheddar cheese and one-and-a-half-pound jars of horseradish-cheddar spread will also be available for $14 each. The sale will continue while supplies last. Proceeds help the Early Bird Kiwanis Club provide financial support throughout the year to approximately 20 local charitable organizations. To purchase cheese, contact Troy Swinford at 217-620-4989.
