Tate McRae Scores First Lead No. 1 on Billboard Streaming Songs Chart With ‘Housewife’ — Decatur Arts news

Tate McRae has reached a new milestone in her music career as her latest single, Housewife, debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard Streaming Songs chart dated October 31, 2026. The achievement follows a strong opening week for the track, which generated 22.9 million eligible U.S. streams during the tracking period ending October 22. This marks McRae s first time leading the Streaming Songs chart as a lead artist. She previously reached No. 1 as a featured performer on Morgan Wallen s What I Want, which spent six weeks at the top in 2025. Housewife also makes a significant impact on the Hot 100, debuting at No. 2. The position gives McRae her highest-charting single as a lead artist, surpassing the No. 3 peaks of Greedy and Tit for Tat. The new release adds another major achievement to McRae s growing collection of chart successes. Housewife is also expected to appear on her upcoming fourth studio album, although an official release date has not been announced.
