University of Illinois Extension to Host Free Pumpkin Smash in Decatur — Decatur Community news

November 1, 2026 Residents can give their Halloween pumpkins a second life at a free, family-friendly recycling event this month in Decatur. University of Illinois Extension will host its annual Pumpkin Smash from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, November 7, at the site of the former pool in Fairview Park.
